I live in a cozy part of rural Ohio that often behaves like Pine Woods’ slightly more practical cousin—same warm lights in the windows, same friendly neighbors, just fewer porch swings that mysteriously sway on their own.

I fell in love with storytelling thanks to a handful of English teachers who convinced me that a single sentence could change someone’s whole day. Now I write the kinds of books I’ve always adored: tender, heartfelt romances where love grows in unexpected places and the town itself seems determined to nudge two people closer. Pine Woods may not technically exist on any map, but between you and me, I’m pretty sure it’s only hiding because it enjoys the drama.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me crocheting something cozy, cheering for my favorite football teams, or playing piano while pretending I’m in a Hallmark movie montage. My husband has survived more plot twists, character meltdowns, and “just one more chapter” nights than any man reasonably should, and our three grown kids and three grandkids keep my heart full and my calendar delightfully chaotic.
